Change of Schedule

Loyal Freshmen and Freshwomen,

First, I would like to thank everyone for reading Freshies as I put a great deal of myself into this blog. I have acquired full-time employment and will thus have to change the schedule as to when I update this fine social gathering place. I will now be updating Freshies on Saturday and Sunday's mostly with some weekday posts sneaking in there every once and a while. I urge you to continue reading as Freshies will now become a week in review and will sum up the freshest ingredients on the internet during the week.

Perfect Valentine Present

How appropriate for Friday the 13th. Liz McGrath has created the perfect Valentine's Day present, well it depends on what you define as perfect. Now, I wouldn't buy this for my significant other, but there are a couple that I would buy for myself as art. She has created these two 4-inch butcher knives especially for Valentine's Day. They are only $25 and you can get them here. Each one is hand painted and signed by Liz McGrath herself. They are only available in February so you better hurry up. 

Comme De Garcons

Comme De Garcons comes out with two new pairs of tennis sneakers for the Spring/Summer 2009. They feature canvas and, the dope one, has black leather and has a wing-tip pattern. They are available at Colette.

HeyDay Summer/Fall 09

I came across this video on HighSnobiety and I knew I had to post it. The style of shoe Heyday is coming out with this year is really refreshing. The Hi-tops with the wrap around strap, some nice boots, an ankle shoe, and a real fresh pair of slipper/shoes that are perfect for the summer. You don't need to watch anything past the 3 minute mark cause it just shows a pic of their signature shoe.
